In his first year in the 10th National Assembly, Jimoh Ibrahim sponsored at least five bills including:

  • Federal Polytechnic, Igbokoda, Ondo State (Establishment) Bill, 2023
  • Agriculture Research Council of Nigeria Act (Amendment) Bill, 2023

Also, he has proposed other bills and motions for educational infrastructure (e.g. a Federal College of Education in his district), universal basic education, etc.

Constituency Projects & Empowerment Initiatives

He has undertaken a number of development projects and empowerment schemes:

  • Flagged off road rehabilitation and maintenance in his district.
  • Installed solar lights (over 400 in various communities) and promises more.
  • Empowered constituents: e.g. giving N300,000 each to 100 constituents across the six local governments.
  • Donated to local needs (e.g. to newly-created Local Council Development Areas’ secretariats) and supported projects like supplying transformers, rehabilitating markets, education infrastructure.

Advocacy & Motions

  • Moved motions such as drawing attention to environmental/social issues (for example, threats to Ayetoro community by sea incursion)
  • As Chairman of the Senate Committee on Inter-Parliamentary Affairs, he has participated in international parliamentary forums and spoken on issues like access for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) to education.
